We only breed healthiest and soundest miniature bull terriers.
Critical Health Notice:
Breeding healthy miniature terriers is the prime responsibility of all breeders. With the known genetic issues in this breed, it is the sole responsibility of ALL BREEDERS to health screen and certify their breeding stock with the OFA. If a breeder fails to screen and certify their breeding stock for all known health diseases THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE BREEDERS NO MATTER HOW NICE THEY APPEAR.
Breeding healthy dogs should be the prime consideration for any breeder and we have the tools to ensure we are doing the best we can with genetic screening & certification with the OFA.
Testing required: Heart, Kidney, Eyes-PLL, Patellas, and now Laryngeal Paralysis-LP.
PROTECT YOURSELF:
INSIST ON SEEING THE OFFICIAL OFA HEALTH CERTIFICATES & LOCATE THE CERTIFICATION NUMBERS FROM THE OFA WEBSITE.
DO NOT TAKE THE BREEDERS' WORD THAT THEY 'HEALTH CHECKED' THEIR STOCK.

LP - *Laryngeal Paralysis*- New testing available! All breeders should be testing for it!
PLL
Heart Certification - OFA (We ONLY use a Board Certified Cardiologist)
Kidney Function Certification - OFA
Patella Certification - OFA
Temperament screening
Health Certification: All puppies are certified healthy by our Veterinarian the day they leave for their new homes.
We will supply all the certifications on the parents of your puppy as part of your puppy kit.
Vaccination Protocol:
We have followed Dr. Jean Dodds since 1989 (we had the pleasure of meeting her when she came to Canada in 1990) & currently follow hers & Dr. Ronald Schultz' minimal late vaccine & titre protocol. Coupled with our whole food nutriton, we have had great success over the years in raising puppies with healthy immune systems. We stress that diet is critical to this success.
Deworming Protocol:
We have our puppies on a full deworming schedule & we incude the information in our puppy kits so you can give the information to your own veterinarian,
We take the mental & physical health of our dogs very seriously!
Not only do we breed for correct conformation, health & temperament, we also ensure that all of our puppies & dogs are raised with proper whole food nutrition. Nutrition plays a key roll in raising the healthiest dogs possible, a fact we have proven over 30 years & all the generations of dogs we have reared.
